High-Value Asset Recovery & Court-Led Surplus Realisation

Integrated legal, valuation and financial analysis for substantial assets locked in liquidation, enforcement attachments, creditor disputes or judicial deposits.

Advisory coverage

How TLGS can support you

  • Multi-forum recovery strategy and creditor-rights mapping
  • Forensic title audit, encumbrance review and valuation analysis
  • Court-supervised sale and auction preparation support
  • Statutory-liability, creditor-claim and surplus calculations
  • Judicial-deposit reconciliation and post-release transaction support

Mapping a complex recovery situation

Substantial commercial, industrial and land assets may remain tied up in liquidation, enforcement attachments, creditor disputes, valuation objections or judicial deposits. The synopsis treats asset recovery and court-led surplus realisation as one integrated service.

TLGS maps the rights, restrictions and proceedings affecting the asset so that title, creditor claims, valuation and proposed monetisation can be considered together.

  • Overlapping liquidation and enforcement proceedings
  • Conflicting secured-creditor positions
  • Valuation disputes and court-sale preparation
  • Judicial-deposit and surplus-distribution questions

Coordinating the recovery architecture

The applicable forums may include DRT / DRAT, NCLT / NCLAT, the relevant PMLA forum and constitutional courts. TLGS evaluates the actual proceedings and prepares a coordinated legal-commercial roadmap with counsel.

Work can include valuation-objection analysis, auction or sale-support material, title-clarification documents and strategy notes for the liquidator, creditors or counsel, depending on the client’s role.

  • Creditor-rights and proceeding maps
  • Valuation and auction-support submissions
  • Title clarification and due-diligence packs
  • Coordination of lawful release and NOC requirements

Title, valuation and surplus calculations

Before a sale or recovery proposal is evaluated, the documentary exercise checks historical transfers, encumbrances, competing interests and valuation assumptions. Financial work reconciles verified claims, statutory dues, taxes and other liabilities with the projected realisation.

TLGS prepares a financial matrix showing the relationship between value, liabilities and any proposed surplus. Distribution priorities and entitlement are assessed under the applicable framework rather than assumed.

  • Forensic title and encumbrance review
  • Creditor and statutory-liability reconciliation
  • Tax and TDS corrections where supported
  • Sale-value and liability-coverage modelling

Sale, monetisation and post-release execution

Following the necessary orders and approvals, the scope may extend to auction-process support, buyer or seller documentation, title handover and post-sale compliance. Cross-border proceeds questions are considered where relevant to the mandate.

The purpose is to translate a complex record into a structured recovery and implementation process. A possible surplus or commercial recovery remains dependent on the asset, verified claims, applicable law and competent decisions.

  • Court-approved sale implementation support
  • Creditor-settlement documentation
  • Buyer-side or seller-side due diligence
  • Post-order transfer and compliance coordination
