Dispute Resolution
Former Deputy Advocate General, State of Punjab, with wide-ranging litigation and mediation experience across constitutional, civil, criminal, revenue, election and tax matters.
Shri Manohar Kumar Garg is a former Deputy Advocate General for the State of Punjab. As Director & Group Principal — Dispute Resolution at TLGS, he brings broad litigation experience and a practical understanding of public-law, private-law and institutional disputes to the group’s advisory work.
His experience encompasses election petitions, revenue matters, civil and criminal litigation, constitutional writ petitions, sales-tax disputes and special leave petitions before the Supreme Court of India. This breadth supports the assessment of a matter from several connected perspectives: the underlying rights, the evidentiary record, the appropriate forum and the practical implications of the relief sought.
He is trained in mediation by the Punjab and Haryana High Court and is a member of the Supreme Court Bar Association and the Punjab and Haryana High Court Bar Association. His approach combines considered litigation strategy with attention to negotiated and mediated resolution where suitable.
Within TLGS, his contribution includes dispute assessment, review of legal positions, contract-related issues and coordinated resolution strategy. He works with the group’s advisers and instructed professionals to translate complex records into clear issues and a purposeful course of action.
