Advisory coverage
Commercial arbitration requires decisions about the dispute, evidence, procedure and the expertise needed from a neutral tribunal. TLGS helps clients organise those decisions before an appointment or hearing strategy is settled.
The service addresses uncertainty about arbitrator suitability, institutional versus ad hoc procedures, claim quality and the sufficiency of the evidence. It does not promise appointment of a particular arbitrator or influence over any tribunal.
TLGS evaluates the contractual issues, alleged breach, evidence and damages analysis, including the relationship between claims and counterclaims. The result is a reasoned record for the client and counsel to assess.
The evaluation distinguishes procedural and evidentiary strengths from matters needing further support. It may inform negotiation, preparation or the decision to pursue an arbitral process.
The synopsis places neutrality, competence and conflicts at the centre of selection guidance. TLGS can map relevant professional backgrounds and review domain alignment for infrastructure, engineering, real-estate, commercial and shareholder disputes.
Institutional and ad hoc routes are considered with the contract and applicable framework. Appointment decisions and conflict disclosures remain governed by the relevant procedure.
Preparation can include statements of claim and counterclaim, document indexes, exhibit mapping, evidence books and pre-hearing counsel notes. The scope also covers interim-application strategy and institutional rules identified in the synopsis, including SIAC, ICC, MCIA and DIAC.
Post-award support may concern challenge or enforcement preparation where legally available. References to procedural provisions describe the intended service coverage; their applicability is assessed for each case.
