The executive brief
The decision in front of the business.
01Build a plant-specific investment case around feedstock, gas evacuation and the relevant support conditions.
02Capital assistance can improve project economics, but feedstock continuity and dependable gas sales remain decisive. Developers should integrate seasonal sourcing, aggregation, digestate utilisation and connection costs into one model. The national outlay is programme funding and does not represent an individual plant order.
03Match the plant site with feedstock catchment and gas evacuation route.

Commercial implications
Capital assistance can improve project economics, but feedstock continuity and dependable gas sales remain decisive. Developers should integrate seasonal sourcing, aggregation, digestate utilisation and connection costs into one model. The national outlay is programme funding and does not represent an individual plant order.
Participation and execution
Technology providers can support process design and plant performance; investors and lenders need site-specific operating and contractual evidence. CGD entities are an offtake interface under the framework. State facilitation matters for land, approvals, feedstock ecosystems and local infrastructure.
