The executive brief

The decision in front of the business.

Select the correct track and connect technical milestones with institutional funding evidence.

01Select the correct track and connect technical milestones with institutional funding evidence.

02Early discovery is a portfolio and milestone problem as well as a financing problem. Applicants should demonstrate the asset’s novelty, technical plan, development risks and the investor commitment relevant to the chosen track. A maximum assistance figure does not establish an award to an individual applicant.

TLGS assessment

Commercial and operating implications.

Commercial implications

Early discovery is a portfolio and milestone problem as well as a financing problem. Applicants should demonstrate the asset’s novelty, technical plan, development risks and the investor commitment relevant to the chosen track. A maximum assistance figure does not establish an award to an individual applicant.

Participation and execution

Pharma and MedTech teams should assess the precise TRL and product category before preparing their application. Institutional investors need a credible transition from research outputs to regulated development and commercial use. Previously submitted first-round projects should follow the Department’s resubmission directions.
