A July 2026 government release on Punjab–NLDSL cooperation describes ULIP’s role in integrating transport and logistics data for visibility and coordination across the logistics ecosystem.

A digital interface cannot by itself create terminal capacity, a reliable train path or a completed customs process. Its value lies in making the physical chain more predictable. Freight users should connect data visibility with service-level commitments, exception handling and responsibility for hand-offs between modes.
Bharat Pulse’s assessment is that logistics investment should be reviewed as a combined physical-and-information system. An industrial customer needs to know not only where a consignment is, but what action follows a delay and who can take it. Terminal location, first- and last-mile arrangements and data access should therefore be assessed together. The cited ULIP initiative is public policy context, not evidence of a CONCOR mandate or project award discussed at this meeting.
